TAX INVOICE Empty TAX INVOICE

Post by Jullia Fri May 15, 2015 4:42 pm

Hi,
May I know, a registered person is it compulsory to provide a valid TAX INOVICE?, can they just provide normal invoice without charging GST?

Second, what TAX CODE should i use if I received normal invoice without GST from a registered person?
Thanks

Jullia

A GST registered person must charge GST on taxable supply of goods or services and must produce a tax invoice.

If you received a normal invoice from a GST registered person, the goods or services can either be zero-rated (ZP), exempted (EP) or out-of-scope (OP).
